Last updated 13 July 2026. The plain-language version: your data runs your restaurant, your customers stay yours, and we don't sell anything about anyone.
What we collect
Account details you give us (name, email, phone), your restaurant's operational data (menus, orders, inventory, staff accounts you create), and technical logs needed to keep the service reliable. Guests ordering through a QR menu provide only what the order needs — typically a table number and optionally a name.
How we use it
To run your restaurant's operations: processing orders, syncing devices, generating your reports. We use aggregate, de-identified usage to improve the product. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your restaurant's business data to benefit other customers.
Your customers stay yours
Order history and customer details generated in your restaurant belong to your business. We process them on your behalf; we don't market to your customers or share their details with third parties beyond the processors needed to run the service.
Where data lives
Data is stored with our cloud database provider on infrastructure in the Asia-Pacific region, with tenant isolation enforced at the database layer. Backups are taken regularly and access is restricted to the operating team.
AI features
Menu photos and supplier invoices you upload for AI import are sent to the AI provider configured for your account solely to perform the extraction, and are not used by us to train models. Nothing is written to your account without a human confirming it.
Your choices
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and its data at any time — email privacy@foodine.cloud. We answer within 30 days.
Questions about this policy: privacy@foodine.cloud. This page will evolve as the product does; material changes are announced to account owners by email.
